What we do

Shipstar is automated product marketing for engineers and agents. Developers are great at shipping and famously bad at telling anyone about it — so Shipstar connects to your GitHub repositories and turns real commits, merges, and releases into publishable marketing content: changelogs, release notes, blog posts, social posts, and newsletters, drafted in your voice.

You review each draft (or let it auto-publish), and Shipstar delivers it to your hosted changelog, blog, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Slack, email lists, Intercom, RSS feeds, and custom webhooks.

We use Shipstar on Shipstar: our own changelog is generated from our own commits by the same pipeline we sell — unedited.

Who we are

Shipstar is built by Shipstar Inc., a US-based company. We're a small, product-focused team of engineers who wanted release marketing to be a by-product of shipping, not a second job.

The whole pipeline is also exposed to AI agents over MCP and a REST API, so coding agents can announce the features they just shipped.
