How do I connect Shipstar to my Slack workspace?
After signing up, go to your project settings and click “Add to Slack”. You’ll be guided through the Slack OAuth flow to authorize Shipstar to post to your chosen channels.
What Slack permissions does Shipstar request?
Shipstar only requests permission to post messages to channels you explicitly select. We never read your private messages, DMs, or access channels without your authorization.
How do I disconnect Shipstar from Slack?
You can remove the Shipstar app from your Slack workspace at any time via Slack's app management settings, or disconnect the integration from your Shipstar project settings.
Can I choose which channels receive updates?
Yes. You can route different content types (changelogs, release notes, product updates) to different Slack channels from your Shipstar dashboard.
