Shipstar can automatically turn your recent GitHub commits into a polished changelog or product update in seconds. Once you have connected a GitHub repository under the Pipeline > Sources section, navigate to your content dashboard and select the repository you want to summarize from the dropdown in the page header. Click Generate to kick off the process — Shipstar reads your commits from the past seven days and produces a structured, readable update complete with grouped sections and highlights. The freshly generated draft is marked with a "New" badge so it is easy to spot.
After generation completes, your draft appears in a bordered Preview container so you can clearly see exactly what will be published before anything goes out. You can edit the content directly in the rich text editor — formatting, restructuring, or trimming as needed — and save your changes back at any time. Previous drafts are always accessible from the header menu via "View Previous Drafts," and you can delete any draft you no longer need. When you are happy with the content, use the publish controls to send it live immediately or schedule it for a later date.
