All updates

Shipstar adds branded email sending, a rebuilt account experience, and a new MCP erase tool — plus a full wave of privacy and security improvements across account management, data export, and consent.

  • NewBrand your audience emails with your logo and accent colour

Release notes and changelog emails sent to your subscribers can now show your project's logo and match your brand colour — including accessible button and link tints — instead of defaulting to Shipstar's styling. Set your branding under Destinations → Email → Branding, and preview the header and button live in the dashboard.

  • NewSet a reply-to address and postal address for audience emails

Replies from your subscribers now land in your own inbox rather than Shipstar's support queue — just set a reply-to address under Destinations → Email → Sender details. You can also add your project's physical postal address so your outgoing emails meet CAN-SPAM requirements, falling back to Shipstar's address when unset.

  • NewPermanently erase audience contacts and manage changelog subscribers

You can now permanently erase a mailing-list recipient from the dashboard or via the API (POST .../recipients/erase), and view, search, export, or erase changelog subscribers under Destinations → Email. Erasure records a suppression so the contact is never re-added, and consent timestamps are captured at subscribe and confirm.

  • NewMCP erase tool for handling deletion requests

A new erase_mailing_list_recipients MCP tool lets you permanently remove a contact from your project's audiences directly through the MCP interface, mirroring the dashboard and API erase flows.

  • NewSee and revoke connected apps that have access to your account

A new Connected apps card in Account → Security lists every MCP connector or OAuth client that holds access to your account, along with which projects it can reach. You can revoke any app instantly, cutting off its access on the next request.

  • ImprovedRebuilt account pages with clearer navigation and stronger session control

Account settings are now organised into four focused tabs — Profile, Sign-in & security, Notifications, and Data & privacy — with deep links, mobile-friendly layout, and your email notification preferences moved into Notifications where they belong. The Security tab shows your active sessions, lets you sign out other devices, and password changes and resets now end all other sessions immediately.

  • NewChange your account email with a confirmed link

You can now update the email address on your account from the Profile tab — Shipstar sends a confirmation link to the new address, and nothing changes until you confirm it, keeping your account secure and accessible throughout.

  • ImprovedComprehensive data export now covers your full account

Your downloadable data export (available under Data & privacy) now includes your profile, all preferences, sign-in providers, login sessions, connected apps, every team and project you can access, destinations, repos, webhooks, API request history, mailing-list counts, calendar events, and all generated content — delivered as a ZIP with a README.
